Meet Luke

MEET LUKE

I’m running for reelection because as a community we still have

Meridian is the community I was raised in, and it’s the community I’m proud to call home. I love that our neighbors celebrate Independence Day together. I love that our faith community rallies when people are sick or in need. I love that when you are at the supermarket people just nod and say hi…even if you’ve never met them before.

This is the community I was raised in, and it’s the community I’m proud to call home.

That’s our home, our Meridian; from Old Town to Tuscany we all chose this community because we know Meridian offers more. More space for our kids to enjoy their childhood. More emergency responders to keep our families safe. More opportunities to achieve the American Dream.

Over the past four years, Meridian has been rated the best place to live in America. We have added new parks, a new fire station as well as new retail and housing options. That said, there is still more to accomplish, specifically in economic development and career-based job creation. Serving on the Meridian City Council, I’ll continue to be the voice for families in Meridian. I’ll utilize my experience both in and out of government, my heart for service, and a desire to be responsive to the needs of our community personally and professionally.

Biography

Luke is a lifelong resident of Ada County, and while he moved to Meridian at age four, it has always been his home. Luke, wife Adrean and their two kids (Gunner and Lincoln) love that everything they need is a walk, bike ride, or short drive away.  From world-class parks to the Village to downtown, Meridian has it all!

A product of both joint School District #2 and Bishop Kelly High School, Luke attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he had the opportunity to intern in Washington, DC for then Senator John Ensign, R-NV.  As an intern, Luke witnessed the heinous events of September 11th and it created a desire to serve in his community.

Current and Past Experience

Luke served as the Community Liaison for the City of Meridian where he aided as an advocate for those in our community.
